Hi, I’m Jamie!
I am a first time mother to a baby boy, learning to juggle between a full-time job, being a good enough mother to my son, and learning to cope with my anxiety.
When I was first told by psychiatrists that I have postpartum anxiety, I had no clue how I was going to deal with it. That was when I realized that there was so much information about how to be the perfect mother, but little about how it is perfectly okay to struggle and fail through motherhood. This has to change and it will begin with me!
I hope this blog serves as a platform for me to share my journey through motherhood, both the good and the bad, and to build awareness of the importance of a mother’s mental health.
